Post Apocalyptic Finnish Flick

Thumbs up for the $2 DVD I found in The Reject Shop, The Last Border, set in post-apocalyptic 2009, filmed in Finland...heavy guitars on the soundtrack, maiden with amnesia (but later remembers how to shoot a gun so might be a guerilla fighter for the good cause), 'hero' with 90's rock mullet and revenge on his mind, evil bikers, old magic hag with big nuff nuff son, viking style post-apocalyptic costumes Finnish style (reindeer skins, etc.), and actors called Jürgen Prochnow, Kari Väänänen and Fanny Bastien...good old Fanny. Makes me want to make a movie...

 

 

Super 7 San Fran steals the bars

Watching the Electric Playground they exposed Super 7 nerd store in San Fran's logo rip off from Black Flag...looking around, a few more did too - but then, did it really originate with Black Flag?

 

 

Musical Memories actually Rocksteady...

Music memories being turned around, yes I did first hear these by Blondie and Boney M...but now - seeing the 1960s Jamaican Rocksteady originals...

 

 

Another Rocksteady classic originally recorded in the 60's...
